If you would like to help the Heart Gallery or work with foster children, here’s what you can do:
Donate Your Time- There are many organizations that provide care or offer assistance for foster children in Broward County. Each of them can use help from qualified adult volunteers who are willing to make a commitment to help the children. Here are some ways that volunteers can help:
Tutor or mentor a child. Training is required and is offered by several providers.
Offer job training to a teen in foster care. Many teens “age out” of foster care at 18 and are required to support themselves. They desperately need help in making that transition.
Help with special events
Become a Guardian ad Litem- a court-appointed advocate for a foster child
Donate your expertise to teach a craft, tell a story or talk about life skills to a group of foster children at a foster care facility.
If you’d like to speak with someone, call the Heart Gallery at 954-918-3008 and we will hook you up with a program that matches your interests.
Make A Financial Donation- The Heart Gallery needs the support of businesses and individuals to fund the costs of producing and promoting the Heart Gallery and to put on enrichment programs for the children. The Heart Gallery of Broward is a 501©3 organization. All financial donations are tax-deductible. To make a donation online, please click here. Donations can also be sent by mail to:
